Is this a real firearm?

No. The Hot Shot is a novelty cigarette case and butane torch lighter shaped like a handgun. It cannot fire ammunition, has no firing pin, and is not capable of being modified into a firearm.

How does it fuel?

Standard butane. Refill the tank with any common butane canister — same fuel as a typical torch lighter. Takes about 5 seconds and costs pennies per fill.

What cigarettes fit, and how many?

Each Hot Shot ships with two magazines: one size 72 mag for regular cigarettes and one size 100 mag for king-size. Each mag holds 10 cigarettes. Cigars and other oversized smokes will not fit.

Can I take this on a plane?

No. Replica firearms are prohibited in carry-on and checked luggage by TSA and most international aviation authorities. Ship it ahead or leave it home.

Where does it ship?

Continental US only. We do not ship to NY, NJ, MA, IL, CT, RI, or DC due to local replica firearm restrictions. Verify your state's laws before ordering.

Orders ship within 24 business hours via USPS or UPS from Isanti, MN. Standard delivery is 3–7 business days within the continental US. Free shipping on all orders $44.99 and above.

Due to local restrictions on novelty replica products, Hot Shot Lighters does not ship to: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, Connecticut, Rhode Island, or Washington D.C. Buyer is responsible for verifying the legality of this product in their local jurisdiction before ordering.

All orders require an adult signature (21+) at delivery. Tracking information is emailed once the order ships.

Returns & Warranty

Hot Shot Lighters offers a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived defective.

Each Hot Shot is covered by a 90-day manufacturer warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Normal wear, fuel leaks from improper refilling, or damage from misuse are not covered.

Hot Shot Lighters collects only the information necessary to fulfill your order: name, shipping address, billing address, email, and phone number. Payment information is processed by our payment processor and is never stored on our servers.
